Meet The Founder
Shelby is the Founder and Head Instructor of Duo Haus. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a focus on pelvic health and performance, bringing over a decade of experience in Pilates and strength-based movement.
Her approach blends classical and contemporary Pilates work with thoughtful strength training to help clients move well, feel strong, and build bodies that last. Influenced by a range of movement systems, her teaching is grounded, intentional, and centered on promoting health and performance.
The Meaning Behind The Name
Duo Haus is exactly what it sounds like, two ways to train (Duo), one shared space (Haus). Pilates and strength training under one roof, designed to work better together.
Our classes blend the control and precision of contemporary reformer pilates with functional weight training to help you move better, feel stronger, and support long term health and longevity.
